Memorial Day in the Washington region One of the local traditions the annual "Ride To the Wall" also known as "Rolling Thunder" begins in FrontRoyal every year [atleast a significant portion of it]. Friday a large amount of bikes begin to gather, most enjoy riding Skyline Dr. and the surrounding valley, by Monday there are thousands of motorcycles when the actual ride kicks off.
