For whatever reason -- the rain (that continues today) or the maturity of all the irises we've planted over time -- we have the biggest bumper crop of irises so far. The Pacific Coast variety are just past their peak, the bearded are coming out in droves, with a few Douglas and Siberian chiming in.

Iris Lady's Reward
For whatever reason -- the rain (that continues today) or the maturity of all the irises we've planted over time -- we have the biggest bumper crop of irises so far. The Pacific Coast variety are just past their peak, the bearded are coming out in droves, with a few Douglas and Siberian chiming in.

So how was the Iris Show upon return? We came home to weeds!
A few stragglers are left among the mountains of weeds. Ugh
