Patricia Cornwell visits AFDIL

Mystery author (and former real-life medical examiner) Patricia Cornwell paid a visit to AFDIL yesterday. She was there researching her next book and a potential movie, and took some time out to have lunch with the AFDIL-ians and sign our books. "Always time for the scientists" she says.

Very exciting I will look forward to her next book knowing she went to you and your coworkers for some of her thoughts.

Better than a book-signing at Borders. I'll be looking for the new one with input from AFDIL. Nice picture!

I don't think my job description is nearly exciting enough to be a character in a book. Besides, she's more interested in the Medical Examiner's side of things. My life these days is better suited to a Rita Mae Brown book.
