Most of the commentary I've seen online that caught my eye has been directed around the theme of Allen being such a fake good 'ol boy that he can't even get his racist remarks straight. Anybody who grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth in Palos Verdes (picture clifftop homes with infinity-edged pools overlooking the Pacific) really shouldn't have much Nascar cred. Alas, it's worked for others, though.
