Swimming With the IrisesI saw this and thought of Dara and her love for Irises. Just when you thought you had exausted your planting possibilities, the backyard pool is only a minor detail. It will also cut down on time spent weeding.
I love it! I bet Steve is giving a big sigh of relief that we didn't put in that pool after all. I did drag him to a seminar on ponds because my one feeble attempt to have a small pond for my water irises failed miserably. Mostly we learned we did not want a pond and all the work. So I have put all my water loving irises in a pot and keep it very wet which seems to be working.
