The shot of a lifetime

I said I would tell you how paint ball with the pros went. Fortunately for me almost every game was parents against kids so I only had to face off against trained killers twice and that ended up 1 and 1. Regardless of training there is a distinct advantage to being small ,the kids really did well, their ability to hide and dodge served them well and they won their share of the battles. Part of life on the river here is dealing with drunken floaters as the conoe company is about 1/2 a mile down stream. Over the years I've seen my share of foating abusers and their trail of trash. As we started our 1st paintball battle I noticed some floaters on our beach, they were trashed, appantly some of the kids took a couple of shots at them, when I arrived on the scene 2 guys were yelling "go ahead shoot me" one was foolish enough to moon me. I couldn't resist and fired 3 or 4 times till paintball met bare ass from about 20 yards. I'm sure the pain was dulled by liquor but it obviously hurt as I saw him jump a few feet. After a few tense words they got over it and left peacfully. It was a great moment of satisfaction for me after years of cleaning up after these guys, and it provided quite a laugh for everyone including the victims companions.

It's not every day you get presented with a target like that. I had enough paint ball experiences with Garrett to know that those things hurt through thick clothes.
