Mutually Assured Destruction

Since the North Korean missile causing so much stir today is apparently notoriously inaccurate, and we have a missile defense system designed to defend against it, it occurred to me that a diplomatic breakthrough could be had by a little cooperation. They could embed a homing beacon in it and run their test, and we could test our missile defense system. A win-win for everyone.

Ok, I swear I was only joking, but I see that someone thinks it's a good idea. I still think the diplomacy to get the homing device embedded is the way to go, because otherwise it we don't stand much of a chance without a few more billions and some more years of testing.

We could also place a homing device on all the money that will be extorted from us and see where that actualy winds up. The nuclear threats from N Korea and Iran both seem like big league extortion plans to me but who actualy has the balls to refuse to be a victim.

Yes, the Koreans are the masters of playing chicken, no question.
