Now that we have you all up to speed on Facebook, you might want a little more education on the subject of
social networking courtesy of The Daily Show. Or, if the comedic approach (or the plug-in) doesn't work for you, you see
corporate America's take at Business Week. P.S. In the Daily Show report, he mentioned something Dara and I never heard of before,
emo rock. Keith, Dan is going to be educating you on all of these subjects before long.

Generation @ .. thats the 1st time I have heard that, Steve you and I were nestled in somewhere between the baby boomers and generation X. I'm just glad to see this generation has an identity with a title. Somehow after reading that article I'm feeling very old.
A follow-up on the latest uses of Facebook, the Yale Daily News ran this article today that you might find interesting: http://www.yaledailynews.com/article.asp?AID=31948
My employer (and no doubt my parents) would not be happy, but it has occurred to me that workers can turn the whole employers-in-charge issue on its head using similar social networking approaches. Think of it basically as means to build a gigantic worldwide union. In this day and age where corporations can at their whim direct work to a lower cost location outside of their home country, but people can't exactly move across national borders and deal with the changes in standards of living, this kind of easy access to information -- like salaries, etc -- could form the basis for a very effective collective bargaining tool. Food for thought.
