Scotty Has Beamed Up

James Doohan died. This may put a damper on the plans for the upcoming sequel.

I had no idea it was cancelled after only three seasons; "weak ratings" (?) ... how can that be, it's a bloody institution!

I had no idea you could become a father at the age of 80! I guess the old boy surprised a lot of people. Maybe there is something to those dilithium crystals he was so protective of.

A little known factoid about Dara for you. During a conversation with some friends of ours once, she admitted she was a big Star Tek fan. "Not that I'd call myself a trekkie," she explains. "I've only been to one Star Trek convention."

All right, I am usually a lurker here on the Harris blog but I knew my spouse was going to tell on my going to a Star Trek convention (before I met him, I was 18). I don't apologize, it was great and had a great bloopers reel of out takes and no, I was not in costume. I think Scotty might have been there even. However, what Steve left out completely was his obsession with Enterprise this year, a Star Trek spin off. The cancellation of which hit him very hard. Takes one to know one.
