Our new high tech bird feeder has yet to host any birds that I've seen, although Dara claims she saw some. Still, we can always keep ourselves occupied by
virtual birdwatching at PG&E in downtown San Francisco. The Oracle towers also are home to peregrine falcons. In case watching is not exciting enough for you, you can even sit at the comfort of your computer and take
target practice. It seems that people are upset enough about the idea of killing animals from your den that they're
trying to outlaw it here. What would Daniel Boone do?

On-Line hunting, now there is an activity everyone can get together and hate Its a rare thing to see animal activists the Gun lobby and outdoorsman all agree on something. I have to admit as an avid hunter it seems like the pinnacle of laziness. For me most of the time when the gun is fired the hunt is just begining, things like finding your quarry and the dragging it back to the truck are all part of the fun not to mention testing your skills as a butcher. As for that poor Parigrine Falcon the nest looks pretty man made and doesn't have that bird-homey kind of feel to it and the link for recent mating activity seems intrusive, someone contact PETA
