I have been known to take a few liberties in stating my income, every year I agonize over a few bucks but this guy was crazy. How could you be so smart and be so stupid all at the same time. Maybe the word crazy explains it

As unrepentent Survivor watchers from the first season onward, we were amused to see that Richard Hatch, the guy who won the first $1M prize, apparently decided not to report the income to the IRS. The telecom guy used high-priced tax lawyers and shell schemes to hide his income. I guess Richard, who was also famous for hiding nothing when he pranced around nude on the island, figured he had immunity from the IRS.
