It felt like the French Revolution revisited to read about the glee of the crowd in beautiful Redwood City, California, as the Scott Peterson verdict was handed down. We have the penalty phase to look forward to, so the fun isn't over yet. Not that the guy doesn't get everything coming to him, but the cheering was a bit over the top. At least we can now move on to something important to people -- the Michael Jackson trial -- and leave Redwood City alone.
